I absolutely had a blast building the wyvern, but I found that the quality of the hardware was not quite as good as some of the other sets I got from this site. I found that a lot of the spikes the bolts used were not long enough to stay on properly and had to resort to modeling putty and crazy glue to get them to stay. I also found several nuts and bolts that had flaws in the threads, but I was able to continue thanks to the extras in the kit. Overall I am still a huge fan of these puzzles and will be purchasing more in the future.

This kit came together a little different from previous kits I've built, challenging but not frustrating. Each build seems to have a step or two that can be troublesome and this kit is no different, but it did feel like the designers put some extra thought in the assembly steps.

Happy with the end result. I dinged one star for some part quality issues, 3 pieces missing threads that had to be glued and a few minor issues in the assembly manual with parts in wrong position or orientation - but nothing that couldn't be worked out. Not for beginners probably but a good challenge for intermediate to experienced builders.

Great detail and lots of fun to make, only criticism would be the model itself can be difficult to position how you like unless you can get the joints really solid as they can work loose afterwards and be difficult to re-tighten as the nut you need to reach is obscured

The puzzle itself is great, however, there are some critical parts missing from the bag and I need them to complete. I have emailed Moyu, but no reply
